The Soap Co. and BECO. bar soaps from CLARITY & Co. to carry The Plastic Free Consumer Trust Mark
Social enterprise CLARITY & Co. is to carry ‘The Plastic Free Consumer Trust Mark’ from anti-plastics visionaries, A Plastic Planet, on both it’s The Soap Co. and BECO. bar soaps.
CLARITY & Co. is committed to becoming a trailblazer in the bath and beauty industry with its anti-plastics innovations in packaging. The new Plastic Free logo is an important statement of intent as the disability employer rolls out more sustainable packaging across the full range of it’s The Soap Co. products in the coming months.
In addition, in June 2019 selected Waitrose stores nationwide started to sell the all-new BECO. Shampoo Bar that was the very first such bar in the UK to carry the Plastic Free Consumer Trust Mark.
“We are delighted that CLARITY & Co. is one of the very first manufacturers to give shoppers the confidence to buy such sustainably produced products without the guilt we all have buying our personal care products in indestructible plastic. This is the start of a real plastic free revolution for our bathrooms; for the many not just the few,” says Sian Sutherland, co-Founder of A Plastic Planet.
“Our The Soap Co. bar soaps are hand wrapped in a compostable bio-film that is actually made from wood pulp – with our BECO. bars being housed in Forest Stewardship Council packaging sourced from well-managed forests,” explains CLARITY & Co. Marketing Manager, Diane Cheung. “The addition of the Plastic Free Consumer Trust Mark is key as we find our eco-ethical brands on sale in multiple retailers that include John Lewis, Fortum & Mason, Fabled by Marie-Claire, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Boots and the Co-op, exposing our products to a new generation of eco-conscious consumers.”
We don’t see disability, we see workability because work lifts lives; raising self-esteem, increasing confidence and building independence. At CLARITY & Co. that’s what we work for – every working day. Visit www.clarity.org.uk for more information.
