KCP Launches Washroom 5D Programme at ISSA/INTERCLEAN 2016

Kimberly-Clark Professional will introduce its new consultative service for Facilities Managers and FM teams, the Washroom 5D programme, to its European market at ISSA/INTERCLEAN.

“Our Washroom 5D programme combines all we know about a winning washroom operation in 5-Dimensions of improvement: Cleanliness, Hygiene, Efficiency, Sustainability and Satisfaction,” explains Ed Borrini, Target Market Leader for Office Buildings at Kimberly-Clark Professional. “Washroom 5D is a unique consultative process in three core stages: discover, compare, improve. It discovers the specific key washroom pain points for FMs and how a washroom compares against industry standards. The programme also provides recommendations and tools to improve the washroom experience and tenant satisfaction levels which in turn can dramatically influence property lease renewals for FMs.”

Central to the process is a site assessment by a Kimberly-Clark Professional consultant to discover key improvement areas. Data from the assessment is analysed and feedback provided across the 5-Dimensions with recommendations of how to improve. The report from Kimberly-Clark Professional also details how the washroom compares with industry standards developed from the company’s vast experience and existing benchmark data.

Measurement is key to the Washroom 5D programme and the Kimberly-Clark Professional consultant will recommend tools to enable customers to collect data on end-user experience of their washroom. “No other global FM organisation is benchmarking standards in the washroom,” adds Ed Borrini. “The analysis of data collected at site provides a fact based and objective view on how a washroom measures up and how to improve.”

“Washroom 5D uses Lean methodologies to compare best practice and look for improvement opportunities in the five key dimensions of the washroom,” adds Ed Borrini. “We help FMs identify sensible changes that lead to measurable improvements in those important client satisfaction levels, and help uncover washroom operational efficiencies that allow FMs to cut costs, reduce waste, and invest their cleaning budget where it matters.”

Visitors to its stand (Hall 11, 726) will be taken through the Washroom 5D programme by Kimberly-Clark Professional consultants. “We will demonstrate how the Washroom 5D programme can provide the tools, knowledge and information to deliver exceptional workplaces by helping perfect the washroom environment,” explains Ed Borrini. A selection of the Kimberly-Clark Professional products that support the Washroom 5D programme across its five dimensions, and the tools the programme may recommend will be available to give a complete overview of the new service.

The programme is enabled by Kimberly-Clark Professional’s depth of understanding and unrivalled experience in thousands of washroom environments,” says Ed Borrini. “The breadth of the programme enables FMs to discover what is most important to their washrooms, compare with best-practice and improve both user experience and efficiency.”
