Bridge Media Group Wins Packaging Award

Creative print solutions company Bridge Media Group has scooped a top award at The Print, Design & Marketing Awards 2016.

The Sevenoaks based company won the award for the Best Cross Media Campaign (Marketing) for its Bridge Media Group Pen Pack, which showcased the company’s expertise in designing and producing beautiful, classy and elegant packaging that catches the eye.

Containing a pen, it used 300gsm Invercote creato, a smooth, two-sided, multi-layered solid bleached board, ideal for the packaging of luxury products, printed digitally with serialised coding and Printsense high build digital varnish.

The judges praised the company’s campaign for its “high quality promotional piece, using multiple channels.” They also noted that “creativity and personalisation maximises engagement.”

Bridge Media Group Managing Director Phil Mayne and Group Operations Director Nik Hersey-Walker collected the award from category sponsor Infigo Software at the awards ceremony aboard the Silver Sturgeon, on the River Thames, London.

“The Bridge Media Group Pen Pack is a great example of how we are able to take a product and design the packaging for maximum audience impact and usability, whilst using economical manufacturing processes,” says Managing Director Phil Mayne.

In late 2015 Bridge Media Group won two awards at the Solutions Awards, run by specialist magazines Print Solutions and Packaging Solutions.

Not only did the business win the Innovation Award for the eye-catching Evil Within packaging, but it also picked up a Special Award, recognising Bridge Media’s high level of achievement in leading the industry forward.

Bridge Media was also nominated as a finalist in the UK Packaging Awards, for a different project, the limited edition Elite Dangerous collector’s box.

In the Luxury Packaging Awards, Bridge Media were Highly Commended in the Special Edition Pack category, also for their work on Elite Dangerous.
